Is this safe? Can Claude change my website?

No. The connector is strictly read-only — Claude can read your Search Console and GA4 numbers, but it can never publish, edit, or delete anything. You choose exactly which property to share when you sign in with Google.

Do I need a Moonrank account?

No account and no credit card. The MCP connector is a free tool — you just add the URL to Claude and sign in with your own Google account.

What data does Claude actually see?

Only the Search Console site and GA4 property you pick during Google sign-in. From those it can read clicks, impressions, rankings, traffic, AI-referral sessions, and run a technical homepage audit.
