The playbook Moonrank's LinkedIn Agent uses to turn one real operating insight into a post that earns reach — hook, proof, structure, and a close worth reading.

--- name: linkedin-post description: Turn one real insight into a LinkedIn post that earns reach without sounding like every other founder post. owner: Moonrank LinkedIn Agent --- # LinkedIn Post LinkedIn rewards specificity and punishes performance. The posts that travel are the ones that could only have been written by the person who lived them. ## When to use - You have real operating experience and no repeatable way to publish it. - Your posts get polite likes from colleagues and no reach beyond them. - You're building a founder-led pipeline and the content isn't converting. ## Inputs - **Required:** the insight, and who it's for. - **Optional:** the numbers behind it, and what you want the reader to do next. ## Method 1. **Find the claim:** one specific thing you believe that your audience doesn't. Vague means invisible. 2. **Hook:** the first two lines are all anyone sees before "see more". Lead with the surprising part. 3. **Prove it:** the numbers, the timeline, the actual thing that happened. Specific beats impressive. 4. **Structure:** short lines, one idea per line, whitespace. Nobody reads a paragraph block on mobile. 5. **Close:** a takeaway the reader can act on, or a question worth answering. Not both. 6. **Cut:** remove every sentence that would survive in someone else's post. ## Output format A post containing: - **Hook**: two lines, no throat-clearing - **Body**: the story or argument, one idea per line - **Proof**: at least one concrete number, date, or example - **Close**: a takeaway or a question, and the CTA if there is one ## Prioritization rules - No engagement bait. It buys reach once and costs credibility permanently. - Never bury the point below the fold to farm "see more" clicks. - One post, one idea. A post that argues three things argues none. - If it reads like it could be about any company, it's not finished.
The LinkedIn Post skill is how Moonrank's LinkedIn Agent turns something you actually learned into a post people finish: a specific claim, a hook that survives the two-line preview, and proof concrete enough that nobody else could have written it.
It's written as a SKILL.md, a plain-language instruction format that people and AI agents can both follow. Read it to sharpen your own posting, give it to a ghostwriter as a standard, or let the LinkedIn Agent draft from your notes.
Downloading the playbook is free with a Moonrank account. Turning your work into a consistent posting cadence is what the LinkedIn Agent does for you.
“My posts get twelve likes, all from people I already know. What am I doing wrong?”
Every post opens with context before the point, so the two-line preview reads as throat-clearing and nobody expands it. There are no numbers anywhere — the strongest thing you've said this month is "consistency matters". Rewrite: lead with the result, put the number in line one, and cut the closing question you didn't want answered anyway.
Something you actually learned running the business, and who it's useful to.
The LinkedIn Agent sharpens it into one specific thing your audience doesn't already believe.
Two lines that survive the preview, backed by the numbers, dates, or examples behind the story.
Any sentence that would survive in someone else's post gets removed before publishing.
One thing you believe that your audience doesn't — vague means invisible.
Built for the mobile preview, where the decision to expand actually happens.
At least one real number, date, or example. Specific beats impressive.
Short lines, one idea each, whitespace — not a paragraph block.
A takeaway or a question. Never both, never engagement bait.
Anything that could appear in any founder's post is cut before publishing.
