The playbook Moonrank's SEO Agent uses to answer 'how healthy is the site' with a colour, three numbers and the ten things to do first.
Download the methodology, see the three scoring formulas, or run it live inside the SEO Agent.
The Site Health Score skill is how Moonrank's SEO Agent triages a site in one pass. Three scores from three sources — technical health from the audit, visibility from organic clicks, backlink risk from spam, lost links and broken links — combine into a green, amber or red verdict, with each component shown so a clean-but-invisible site never averages into a false 'fine'.
Below the verdict is the part that gets used: every open issue with a severity, a fix, an impact and an effort estimate, ranked into a top ten with quick wins ahead of long projects at equal severity, and rendered as a checklist ready to paste into a ticket.
It's written as a SKILL.md, a plain-language instruction format that people and AI agents can both follow. Read it to triage your own site, hand it to a developer as the fix list, or let the SEO Agent score your workspace.
“Where should we spend our dev hours this week?”
Amber, 61. Technical 78 — two critical issues open, both canonical tags on money pages. Visibility 68. Backlink risk 40, because referring domains fell 23% in the last thirty days, which is the alert at the top. Of the ten fixes, seven are indexability or Core Web Vitals; the theme is that the site is losing links while its own pages are half-invisible to Google. The canonicals are two hours and come first.
What is connected, so a missing source is reported rather than scored as zero.
Technical, visibility and backlink risk, each with its inputs shown.
Every open issue with severity, fix, impact and effort — the top ten in order.
Colour, scores, alerts, the ten fixes, and a checklist to paste into a ticket.
Technical, visibility and backlink risk — so one strong axis never hides a weak one.
Green at 75, amber from 50, red below — with the components alongside.
An unresolvable domain or a lost-link spike, above everything else.
Severity, then impact, then effort — quick wins ahead at equal severity.
The pattern across the ten fixes, so the list reads as one problem, not ten.
