We read your homepage, pull the real questions people ask AI in your category from a 280M-prompt database, and show you how often they're asked, which sources the AI cites, and which brands it names.
How it works
Claude extracts what you sell, who you sell it to, and the category words your buyers would use.
Those category phrases go into a 280M-prompt database of questions observed on ChatGPT, each with an estimated volume, the answer's sources and the brands it named.
Up to 25 prompts sorted by AI volume and tagged by funnel stage. Unlock to see sources and brands, and to track your top prompts in Moonrank for free.
Questions
What is prompt research?
Prompt research is keyword research for AI assistants. Instead of the four-word queries people type into Google, it finds the conversational questions they ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity in your category, so you know which prompts to track and which answers to earn a place in.
Where do the prompts and volumes come from?
The prompts are real questions observed on ChatGPT, from DataForSEO's database of 280M+ prompts. The monthly volume is DataForSEO's estimate of how often each question is asked. When a category is thin, we add prompts modeled by Claude and mark them as estimated.
Is this prompt research tool free?
Yes. Running it needs no signup. You submit an email only to unlock the full list, the cited sources and the named brands. That also creates a free Moonrank account that tracks your top prompts each week.
How many prompts should I track?
Around 25 to start: enough to cover category, competitor and brand questions without noise. Don't track every phrasing of the same question; ChatGPT already expands one prompt into several searches (query fan-out), so one well-chosen prompt covers its variations.
