The Internal Linking Architecture skill is how Moonrank's SEO Agent designs a link graph when there is no behavioural data yet — a new site, a pre-launch blog, a section that has never ranked. It classifies every page by intent, groups them into three to five pillars, names each pillar's hub, and returns a link-by-link plan with three anchor options each.
The anchor rules are the part most linking advice skips. Five links to the same page means five different anchors and at most one exact match, and every anchor is tested against five criteria — including reading the sentence aloud without the link to check it was written, not bolted on.
It's written as a SKILL.md, a plain-language instruction format that people and AI agents can both follow. Read it to structure your own site, hand it to a writer as a brief, or let the SEO Agent build the plan from your article list.
“We're launching a blog with 40 articles planned. How should they link to each other?”
Four pillars, not the eleven categories you drafted — seven of those have fewer than three articles and become sub-clusters. Each pillar gets a hub, and each hub needs five inbound links from its own satellites before it consolidates anything. Of the 40 planned articles, 31 are Know and only 2 are Do, so the Know → Do path barely exists: the plan adds one link per Know article into your demo page, with a different anchor each time.
