The playbook Moonrank's SEO Agent uses to allocate a site's own authority from the queries it already earns impressions on — not from a crawler's idea of a tidy structure.
Download the methodology, see how the agent scores link urgency, or run it live inside the SEO Agent.
The Internal Linking from GSC skill is how Moonrank's SEO Agent decides which of your pages should hold authority and how it gets there. It reads the Pages and Queries exports, identifies which URLs are already behaving like parent pages, finds the ones that are under-linked or orphaned, and returns a link-by-link plan with the anchor text written.
The rule that shapes it is Know → Do. A page that explains a concept should always point at the page where the reader can act on it. Semantic linking builds topical authority; intentional linking moves revenue, and most sites only do the first.
It's written as a SKILL.md, a plain-language instruction format that people and AI agents can both follow. Read it to plan your own linking, hand it to a writer as a brief, or let the SEO Agent build it from your Search Console data.
“I've got twelve articles on one topic and none of them rank. What's missing?”
Your intended parent page has two inbound internal links, so it is not functioning as a parent — five is the minimum before it starts consolidating. Nine of the twelve articles have real impressions at positions 11–18 and link only to each other. Twenty-two links, ordered: eleven activating the parent, six Know → Do links into your pricing page, five into the two orphans nothing currently points at.
Pages and queries per URL over three to six months.
Potential parents, under-linked pages and orphans, read from behaviour rather than sitemap.
Parent, child and grandchild, with Know → Do links added across the tree.
An urgency score per link, with the anchor and the insertion context.
High-impression pages at position 4–15 on commercial queries — the ones worth consolidating.
Good positions with weak CTR, the signature of a page nothing supports.
Pages with no secondary theme in Search Console at all.
Every informational page linked to a page where the reader can act.
Impressions, position potential and business value, weighted rather than eyeballed.
The anchor text and where in the page it goes — never "click here".
