The playbook Moonrank's GEO Agent uses to decide what actually has to be inside a page for a retrieval system to choose it — and remember it.
Download the methodology, see the divergence test, or run it live inside the GEO Agent.
The Vector Entities skill is how Moonrank's GEO Agent works out what a page must contain to be selected by a system that compares meaning rather than matching strings. It produces four columns of ten: the technical entities that are the entry ticket, the quantified proof that raises a model's confidence, the formats the intent expects, and the expert concepts almost nobody includes.
The fourth column is the one that matters most and is hardest to fake. Its test is simple: if a competitor could copy the concept in five minutes, it isn't divergence. Real divergence comes from your own data, your own delivery and your own failures — which is exactly why it makes a model retain your page rather than average it into everyone else's.
It's written as a SKILL.md, a plain-language instruction format that people and AI agents can both follow. Read it as the input to a brief, hand it to a writer, or let the GEO Agent produce it for a target query.
“This page ranks in the top five but never gets quoted in AI answers. What's missing?”
Everything on it is base vocabulary — you have the entry ticket and nothing beyond it. There is not a single quantified proof on the page: eleven claims, all adjectives, none with a figure or a source. There is also no comparison table, which is the format this query's intent expects and all three cited competitors carry. And nothing on the page is unavailable elsewhere, so a model has no reason to retain yours specifically.
The query, its intent type, and how expert the audience is.
Ten technical entities, ten quantified proofs, ten formats, ten divergence concepts.
What competitors have that you lack, and what nobody has claimed yet.
Placement in the page structure, integrated as prose rather than pasted as a list.
The vocabulary present on over 80% of ranking pages — the entry ticket.
Figure plus unit plus context, with a real source behind each one.
The diagrams, tables, tools and video the query's intent implies.
A five-minute rule that separates real expertise from repackaged commonplaces.
Missing entities, unclaimed opportunities, and the quick wins between them.
Where each group belongs, and how to integrate it without keyword stuffing.
